49th Mantel {AND, Fall is in the Air!}

Whoa. Mantel number 49. Which means, of course, just 3 mantels to go! I can't wait to hit "publish" on mantel number 52...and then take a long nap. If after the 52nd week, my mantel stays decorated for Fall clear up until February, please forgive me.

In North Texas we experienced a LOVELY cool front this weekend and enjoyed some very early Fall-like weather. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s. Heavenly! I celebrated with Pumpkin Spice Coffee (duh) and a trip to the park. Because of the Fall weather, I decided to add a tiny touch of Fall to my mantel this week.

The chalkboard banner tutorial can be found here!

The FREE Thankful Heart printable can be found here. It's one I made last year for Thanksgiving. There are several color options, so feel free to go snag it if you want!

That stack of books has been on my mantel for weeks. I hope you're not completely bored with them!

Confession: sometimes (like, every single week) I wait until the last minute to do my weekly mantel. This morning I finished it up while my little helper ate breakfast. She supervised the efforts and gave her approval. Cute little helper, huh?

  7. Maybe I need a lil helper and that's why my post Easter mantel is still up. Or maybe it's because I have helpers that I'm getting nothing done? Maybe I need a day alone.
