Thursdays are YOUR Days, Vol 19

I'm writing this post at Starbucks. Alone. While drinking an iced coffee and enjoying the smell of my freshly (and professionally) done hair. And, admiring my pretty new pedicure. And, thinking, wow. I'm really live it up here. I might even start to feel like a pampered housewife if I didn't remember the speech Mario (that's my hair guy's name. Mario) gave me about how I really should come to him more often than every seven months.

And, "...blah blah blah spit ends". And, "...yada yada yada drab, lifeless color".

What? Do people get their hair cut more often than every seven months? My bad.

ANYWAY...that was a huge digression. We're here to talk about parties! Specifically, this one! And, I have a little change-up to run by you. As you may have noticed, I didn't do a feature post this week. Let me tell you why. I've decided to do my features through Facebook (they say Facebook is the "new" thing). And, through pinterest (they say pinterest is an up and coming force, in which we should all reckon). And, through twitter (don't even get me started on what twitter is. Because, heck if I know).

It just seems that a whole lot of people getting their content from facebook and pinterest. So, why not put your incredible goodness right where there people are?? Yeah, I thought it was brilliant too.

And, of course you are welcome to follow me on facebook and pinterest to keep up with the features! Oh, and you can follow me on twitter, too. If you like hearing me twit about things.

Mantel Monday was a blue, blue day. But, in a good way.

And, yesterday I shared the yummy recipe for Banana Cookie Bars & Nutella Buttercream Icing. Feel free to make just the Nutella Buttercream Icing. And, eat it straight from the bowl with a big spoon. I won't tell. I won't judge. I won't hold it against you in a court of law.
