1 Dresser, 2 Ways {+Christmas Decor!}

Back in August, I shared my new dresser from Sauder and showed how I styled it for a baby shower. Initially, when I picked this dresser, I'd planned on using it in our master bedroom for my hubby's stuff. But, alas, it hasn't quite made it out of the living room! I've just enjoyed having the extra storage and extra area to decorate in our living room!

Since it's Christmas time, I've styled it for the holidays! I'm loving the metallics and creams this year, as you can see! I topped the dresser with an antique window and added some lights and fresh garland. So festive!

I'm sure you'd like to see what it looked like prior to Christmas, huh?

After the baby shower, I clear the desserts (yum, by the way!) and topped the dresser with a lamp and some pretty accessories.

I love having this piece in the living room, because the storage is great! In fact, the drawers quickly became toy storage for my daughter's things.

One day, I will probably move this beautiful piece of furniture to our master, like planned. But, for now, I'll enjoy it right where it is!! :)

I love the idea of using something intended for the one purpose in a whole new way, don't you? I've even dedicated a pinterest board to that, which you can see here!

What furniture pieces do you use in unexpected ways? I'd love to hear your creative ideas!!
