Recently, I've discovered a show on OWN called Home Made Simple. Have you seen it? Such a great show, full of totally doable tips for making a beautiful home. Home Made Simple is hosted by Soleil Moon Frye, who is just as fun as she was in her Punky Brewster days (seriously, isn't she the cutest?!).
I caught an episode called Low-Cost Coastal Living that featured a couple needing a living room/dining room makeover on the cheap (don't we all?). The designer went for an inviting, chic coastal look and totally nailed it. Pale aqua walls and a bright white fireplace makeover set the foundation for some simple DIY projects.
One of my favorite DIYs from the coastal living episode was this ottoman made with recycled belts. Such a unique idea! You can read the tutorial here.
