Easy Fall Leaf Art {Fall Crawl Time!}

Today I'm sharing an easy Fall leaf art project in participation of Fall Crawl at Artsy Girl Connection. Come back tomorrow for our weekly mantel makeover!

Be sure and check out the other fun Fall projects over at Artsy Girl Connection and link up to her Fall themed party!

52 Mantels

I've had these fun frames for several weeks in preparation for a new family photo gallery wall (stay tuned!). I thought, instead of collecting dust in my closet, they could display some Fall art!

Fall Leaf Art

fake Fall leaves
spray paint (I used rustoleum satin in: fire orange, london gray and blossom white)
brown wrapping paper or butcher paper
picture frames

This is easy-peasy: Spray paint faux leaves (mine are of the Dollar Tree variety). Frame them with brown paper. Display. See? Easy-peasy!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see my 51st mantel!

PS. I'm over at Here's To Handy Andy today sharing some of my favorite pumpkin projects. Go check them out!

  1. I love this project! I have a closet full of frames too. Maybe I'll try this when I get home from work tonight. I love a good project to unwind with.

You seem to use a lot of Rustoleum paint. Do they sponsor you?

    1. Hi Sinna! Thanks so much! I do you a lot of Rustoleum, but they do not sponsor me. I just think they have great colors and wonderful coverage!! :)

  2. First we buy the same owl silhouettes and now the leaves from the dollar store! Love your idea of spray painting them and I love a simple craft! My favorite is the big one with all white leaves and then one lonely little red one!

  3. I simply ADORE this project Emily.. SO beautiful and simply lovely.. Thanks SO much for sharing via Fall Crawl.. I can't express enough thank YOU.. Happily falling for the season with YOU.. As always, YOU inspire me.. Wishing you a beautiful and lovely fall.. Thank YOU so much again.. xoxo

  4. Emily, I love how simple and sweet this project is! Looks beautiful and so festive for the season!

  5. These look great!! Simple but yet make a large statement.

  6. No matter what you make I love it. I'm a big fan of your blog and all your projects. The frames are so sophisticated looking. Hope $tree still has some of the great fall decos I"ve been seeing all over blogland. Tomorrows' (SS) payday so I"ll be running to get there. Did you girls leave any goodies for me?
Have to make a few of those leaf frames. I have a few frames hubs made so will get busy. I buy kraft paper at Michaels. Ours in Grand Junction used to have 12" sq. but discontinued it which I'm not too happy about. They still carry the 8 1/2" x 11" size in a pad. Anyway, I loved your brown paper with the subtle stripes on it.

  7. It is really amazing to see this artwork. It is really not admitable that we could these from a fallen leaf. Any ways this is a great work. Top rated essay writing service is interested to create an article related to this work and publish it on our page. Thanks for sharing this.

  8. I love the work. How much beautiful the fall leaf arts are. Some times the original fall leaf may fail in front of these. To simplify the academic works contact the research paper writing service
