Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have to be honest, I'm not the greenest thumb in town. When my husband and I bought our house a couple years back, we knew we'd have to step our game to keep up with the new neighbors. Not only do we live in a well-manicured area, we also have the corner house that's visible from all directions. No hiding for us! So, when I heard about the brand new Expand ‘n Gro™, I was super excited for the chance to try it out! My husband does a lot of the landscaping, but I like to keep our prominent front porch pretty with potted plants. This product is just what I need to get a pretty container garden started this Spring!

For my potted plants, the all-natural, absorbent coir fibers will help them retain up to 50% more water than basic potting soil, releasing water as needed, keeping my plants from being over or under watered! This product also expands up to 3x when mixed with water and continues feeding for up to 6 months. I love that if we use this in our main flower beds, it will improve our soil for up to 3 years!

I am so excited to have a full and beautiful container garden this Spring, beautifying my front porch and giving us extra curb-appeal. You should definitely check this product out and let me know how much you love it! I'm dying to hear about your own personal success stories!

Miracle-Gro is offering one of my awesome readers a sample to try out in your own garden or for your potted plants. How cool is that?!

  8. I have NO green thumb. I don't keep live plants in the house and I rarely plant anything outdoors that doesn't take care of itself and come back every year on its own! However, last year my mom helped me with 1 container of beautiful grasses and flowers. It was such a welcome site on the back patio that I'm hoping to do a few more this year! Wish me luck and wish me some help with the Expand 'n Gro!

  11. This sounds like something I have been looking for. I plant flowers mostly in containers, and the soil tends to get hard and dry on the weekends, when we leave for the camper up north. I have had to replace some of the plantings several times during the summer, because of them getting too dry. I hope to win...this product truly does sound like a "Miracle"..Bonnie in WI

  13. Due to physical inability to garden in the ground any longer, I have resorted and failed most times with the container gardening. With the arrival of early Spring weather in my neighborhood, I am able to get an early start on the containers and once again hopeful to grow vegetables and flowers. I haven't seen this product and would most certainly give it a try :*)
