A Bit of Business

As you can probably see from my sidebar, there are some new, exciting things happening at 52 Mantels! First of all, I finally created a facebook page, so feel free to join me there. I've been told it's the place to be. So, there I shall be.

This next bit of info is big! Just as soon as we get this whole Halloween business out of the way, we can start with the good stuff: Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm all a-tingle in anticipation. I plan on giving Thanksgiving a fair shake with a handful of mantels and maybe a tablescape or two (can you hardly contain your excitement? be honest). But, Christmas, oh beloved Christmas, that is where my heart truly belongs.

So, in honor of the Christmas season, I am teaming up with Dian at Grocery Shop For Free! I'll be guest posting there every Thursday from November 17th-Christmas. You simply won't want to miss it! I'll be talking about all the ways I plan on making a Merrry Christmas for my sweet family. Maybe I'll share recipes or traditions. Maybe I'll talk about frugally decorating for the holiday. Maybe I'll talk about Christmas parties (oh, there will be parties). Who knows what we'll discuss? But, it'll be festive, I can guarantee that! But, before you go, I have one more exciting bit of info to divulge to you. Aimee from It's Overflowing is going to be doing our first guest mantel! I am truly excited about this! Aimee is super-duper talented. And, her photographer is a true artist. You are all in for a serious treat! She'll be posting sometime in the next month. Will she show us a Thanksgiving mantel?
