Quote Wall Stencil

Today, I'm sharing another teaser from my craft room/guest room (are you totally sick of teasers yet??). This quote wall stencil by Cutting Edge Stencils is obviously on the guest bedroom side of the room. I want my guests to Wake Up & Be Awesome. I don't ask much of my guests. Just awesome.

I shared all my wall stencil tips when I revealed my hallway makeover in June. Head there for the nitty gritty. After stenciling my entire hallway, I thought this project would be a breeze. And, you know what?? It was!! It took me less than an hour, from set-up to clean-up.

My only hiccup? I got over-confident and I wasn't careful when I applied the stencil level. Low and behold, it wasn't all the way clipped to the stencil, making my "level" guide not level at all. This was TOTALLY my own fault. It would have been so easy to double check. But, I didn't. With that said, my stencil is ever-so-slightly not level. Darn!! But, I don't think it's that noticeable. And, if it IS noticeable, I hope my guests are too awesome to mention it. Ha! 

I love the way my stencil turned out! It's a cute, easy addition above the night-stand. If you like the colors, they are Pewter Ring by Behr and Sonora Rose by Valspar. Sonora Rose is also what I used on my outdoor rug project. I've been a stenciling fool lately, huh?? 

I'll share the rest of my craft room/guest room next week! I think I'm done...or almost done...with the teasers :).
