Christmas Home Tour!

Warning: this Christmas Home Tour contains GOBS of photos! Seriously. I should considering editing some out. 

(but, I'm not) ;)

Ready?! We start in the kitchen with my fun, white kitchen Christmas tree. My kitchen is a fairly colorful room: green walls, pink dishes. You get the idea. So, of course my kitchen tree had to be colorful too! I love the aquas and pinks!

On the kitchen table is an antique pink bowl with an assortment of fun balls and sprigs. Easy to do and whimsical!

My family room built-ins are dressed with various wintry and Christmasy goodies. My favorite area is, what I like to call, the rustic little Christmas tree farm. Some of the trees are in antique jars and some are sitting on wood blocks.

The basket of pinecones, sticks, spindles (totally random), paper, burlap, antlers (whew!) and silver balls also contain one of the mini painted Christmas signs I made in November.

I have several bowls, vases and containers filled with glass balls, cranberries and pinecones. Such an inexpensive and easy way to decorate for Christmas!

Even my dining room got a little bit of cheer!

My Christmas tree this year is reds, metallics and whites. With chalkboard accents. Of course! I made the chalkboard "ornaments" by painting chalkboard paint to the middle of Dollar Tree silver trays. They're light weight enough that I simply tucked them in between boughs. I added a couple other chalkboards from around my house to finish it off.

I went with red and white wrapping paper this year, in various patterns: chevron, houndstooth, faux bois, polkadot and stripes. Yep, it's pattern overload! I love it, of course.

I suppose we'll end this Christmas home tour at the front door. Once again, I hung my Christmas cards in my entry way. I love being able to look at all the sweet faces and families and I treasure each and every card! Last year I shared what I do with my cards after Christmas. You can read about it here.

On my door this year is a simple boxwood wreath and a shiny ornament inside of an empty frame. Totally simple and chic!
