Back to School Mantel

Happy Mantel Monday! This week's mantel is all about Back to School. Which, admittedly, isn't all that relevant in my house. But, it's relevant to a LOT of houses this week, so I went with it!

Details, details: The globe was borrowed from another room in my house and the books are my go-to for height (plus, they're very in-keeping with the theme this week!). The math flash cards were picked up at an antique store for $0.25/each. How could I resist?!

Do you follow me on Pinterest? If so, you may have seen the free ABC printable I pinned last week. I'm in love with free printables, if you haven't figured it out. And, this ABC print from Sprik Space is great because it comes in a LOT of color choices! I placed mine in a $2 ikea document frame (the frame is 8.5x11" so no trimming the print. Score!) and then placed that frame behind an open frame (an antique store find). Bigger frame=less space on the mantel to fill. Double score!
